The LP/HP adapter allows recharging R134a gas into the air conditioning system in cars manufactured until 2016 that do not have a low-pressure port (LP) but only a high-pressure port (HP).

Manometer readings:

WHITE color (LOW) - range 0-25 PSI: low pressure in the system. Refill the refrigerant.

GREEN color - range 25-55 PSI: correct pressure in the system. Preferred pressure range depending on temperature.

RED color (WARNING!) - above 55 PSI: too high pressure in the system. Reduce the pressure to the correct value.
